Mental Anguish

I can't force my head
 To break these blocks around
  The half-finished thoughts
    I've set out to accomplish.

I try to push forward
 I'd love to break through
But the truth is I'm tired
And I've never been so uninspired.

If only I could purge this house;
Maybe then the words would find my mouth.

Bloody Hands

Great Thane of Cawdor, my most dear of loves
Focus on each approaching word.  You’ll creep
Into the quarters over and steal the sleep
Of your only obstacle before doves
In flight and sky- where your kingdom leads above.
If you can murder sleep, no bounds can keep
Heaven as your ceiling.  Greatness can leap
Far beyond stars.
                             Yet nothing hides- no glove
Or soap, the stain that mars my flesh.  How so
Does my skin burn?  When I long ago
Had finished my damned deed.  The moving woods
Approach the hill.  And stunned, I think they could
Be right, the three old hags.  And so I stand
Looking at these hands- bloody, awful hands.

What I'm About...

I have always considered myself a writer first and foremost.  Even in elementary school I was notorious for writing silly Halloween poetry, and keeping my friends entertained with stories featuring them as the characters.  I wrote my first "novel" when I was ten, and have since expanded my repertoire to include everything more or less.  I have written a feature length film (and am currently working on a new one), TV shows, a number of short stories and poetry, lyrics and guitar compositions and am also currently writing my first serious novel.  Oh yeah, not to mention my other blog: www.lifeinafalsereality.com

I utilize my .com to express my feelings and distaste for the world around me (mostly anyway), whereas I plan to use this site simply to have a place for all of the creative writing I've accumulated over the last decade and a half. I will post new materials as they surface, and will try to include dates where I can (most likely "circas").  I always appreciate criticism and would be grateful for any readers who feel they could offer anything constructive.
